Scheduled
We have a number of minor patches for BLF (parking spot indicators) which need to be applied to our software stack on our production systems. These maintenance items require a restart of our messaging engine, which may temporarily disrupt call processing for new calls (active calls will not be impacted). We expect the disruption to last approximately 30 seconds. During this time, customers in the process of dialing or connecting a new call may have their calls fail. Assuming maintenance goes according to plan, if the customer redials 30 seconds later, the calls will complete. In a worst case scenario, calls could fail for up to 5 minutes but we are not anticipating any problems, so a more likely estimate is about 30 seconds (the time it takes for the software to stop and then restart).

In addition, BLF indicators may become out-of-sync for up to 30 minutes.

This maintenance should improve BLF performance and stability.

This maintenance will be done one datacenter at a time.

At the conclusion of this maintenance we will perform our full QA checklist to ensure all functions are working properly.
